Banyule Primary School recognises that modern parents have much to do and little time in which to do it.

No matter how important our children's education is, it's sometimes impossible to schedule our lives around the school time-table.

Banyule PS is pleased to have available a specialised and safe before- and after-school care facility.

Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)

Students are offered a caring, stimulating, and safe environment in a dedicated Out Of School Hours Care (OSHC) facility.

Children are under supervision at all times, and are able to participate in both indoor and (weather and time of day permitting) outdoor activities, including cooking, craft, reading, videos, and games.

Children always need fuel, so a nutritious breakfast is provided for children attending before 8:15am and delicious afternoon snacks are provided for all children from 3:30pm.

On pupil-free days, some day care may be available, depending on the number of requests made. Such days will involve students in an activity-based program.

Days and Times

Before Hours OSHC operates from 7.00 am - 8.45 am. (A $9 fee applies)
After hours OSHC operates from 3.30 pm - 6.00 pm.   (An $11 fee applies)

Other support services

The Family Assistance Office (FAO) is a joint venture of the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), The Health Insurance Commission (Medicare), and Centrelink.

You may be eligible for Child Care Benefits which may affect your school fee payments.
