Student Welfare and Wellbeing at BPS

We believe happy kids learn and that belief is built on a foundation of Wellbeing and Welfare. Banyule Primary integrates wellbeing learning accross our curriculum, fostering peer connection through restoritive practices.

 

Furthermore, support is available accross all levels of our school, catering to the diverse needs of our students.

Education Support at Banyule

Classroom Support Staff

•Assist our teachers to deliver differentiated learning programs in the classrooms during English and Maths lessons

 

Reading Recovery

•Highly successful program for Year 1 students who may need extra support. This is one of the school’s strengths with a very high success rate

 

EAL Support

•For students with a first language other than English who require additional support to assist them to develop proficiency in English
