Inquiry Learning

 

At Banyule Primary School, we are encouraging wonder and curiosity through Inquiry Learning. Each area of the school develops and pursues key questions in relation to our integrated curriculum. Students build a greater understanding of the topic by analysing from a range of perspectives and posing effective higher order questions.

Students will pursue their interests in relation to the set topic, gaining skills in critical and creative thinking, collaborative learning and independent research. Students use a range of current digital technologies to demonstrate their understandings and findings of their investigation. Students are taught to use a variety of tools to support their thinking and develop their problem solving skills.

It is exciting to see which direction the students will take this opportunity, to choose their own focus and platform for presentation.
